Desideriamo informarvi che sono aperte due posizioni per le seguenti figure:

MOLECULAR GENETICIST/CELL NEUROBIOLOGIST

MD/Biologist/Geneticist with expertise in molecular genetics for a research laboratory focused on medical genetics of rare, hereditary diseases of the nervous system. The main laboratory interest is Huntington and related diseases. The candidate is expected to be an independent researcher with proved expertise and CV focused on neurodegeneration/neurogenetics and is requested to approach genetic tests for molecular diagnosis and is expected to have consolidated expertise in most common molecular genetic techniques, i.e. PCR, RT, SNP analysis and DNA sequencing. The candidate should be able to develop genetic tests for neurodegenerative diseases and is expected to trainee young technicians and students. Proved written and spoken English strongly requested. Preferred skills: A) Ability to develop independent research lines in molecular genetics of neurodegenerative diseases. B) Ability in writing research projects/articles for potential applications/publications. C) Expertise in cell biology. Expertise with animal models, i.e. transgenic mouse models, could eventually be appreciated. The candidate is also requested to have proved team working capacity. The salary depends on CV and candidate’s expertise. The position can be reconfirmed yearly if main laboratory goals and standards are achieved
