Do the symptoms of the disease get worse over time?

Hello doctor I forgot to add a part to the previous question ... talking about symptoms of the disease, obsessive disorders, fasciculations as in my case... do these symptoms get worse over time or might they even disappear or stay at the same for years before getting seriously worse? Thank you very much for your answer.
